Northeastern State Coach Randy Gipson
"The silver lining with our team is they gave a really good effort. We played good team defense for the most part. The mistakes that we made offensively tonight I think are correctable. Hopefully we can keep this group together day-to-day in practice. We need to get good repetitions. I saw a lot of real encouraging things. I think everybody showed their willingness to work hard. We weren't able to pull one out tonight but we fought valiantly. That's a positive sign that we can move forward with."
