NORTHEASTERN STATE COACH RANDY GIPSON
Opening Statement…
"For whatever reason we were a little flat right from the start. (Pittsburg State) is a good team that is playing really well right now. They have great depth and we didn't get out of the gates well in terms of being alert and aware of what we were supposed to be doing defensively. They took advantage of that. We did wear down a little bit."
Â
On Carrington Fox…
"She's been just a really dependable player every day in practice. She's a great teammate and you always knew you were going to get great energy from her. Her defensive presence is demonstrated by the fact that she set the record for blocked shots. She is a great senior. She was handed very difficult circumstances to try and lead a very young team with not much help in the upper class. And she responded very well. Our team has played competitively all year, and I think that starts with the senior leadership we've gotten from
Carrington Fox."
