NORTHEASTERN STATE COACH TRAVIS JANSSEN
Initial Statement…
"I thought we played well all series. We're a team that has played well on the road, and we continued that this weekend. Our defense once again was very clean all weekend. We did a nice job offensively, so overall it was a good series for us."

On Begovich hitting five home runs in the series…
"The team really believes in him. Baseball is a hard game to play. It's very mental. He's had a rough start to the year, but he's shown some glimpses on coming on like we know he can. We hope this weekend can really get him going. He's a really good player. We're obviously very happy for him. He puts in his work, and he's a good teammate."

On the importance of the sweep…
"Every win at this stage of the game is critical. I hope the momentum carries over to next week. We just have to keep playing well. The team always gives great effort and they try to play well.  I hope we keep building on it."

On the starting pitching…
"The starting pitching has been very good for us this season. We feel like no matter who we put out there, we have a chance to win each and every ball game."
