TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Northeastern State baseball team suffered its first series sweep of the season after dropping the final two games to Central Missouri Friday afternoon at Crane Stadium.

The RiverHawks (23-19, 16-16 MIAA) were victims of a 5-4 come-from-behind walkoff loss in the first game before the Mules (27-16, 22-10 MIAA) completed the sweep with a 9-6 triumph in the finale.

NSU is currently tied for seventh place in the MIAA standings with one week remaining in the regular season. The RiverHawks will need to remain in the top 8 in order to qualify for the MIAA Championship tournament for the third-straight year.
