DALLAS, TEXAS--- A sluggish first half performance was too much to overcome as #17 ranked Dallas Baptist cruised to a 91-71 victory Saturday afternoon.
Northeastern State falls to 3-9 on the year, as the Patriots improve to 11-1.
The first half would be one that RiverHawks would quickly like to put behind, with the Patriots shooting 71.8 percent from the field on 23-32 from the field and 7-9 from behind arc. NSU was 10-34 for 29.4 percent and 2-16 from behind the arc.
Northeastern State trailed 60-29 entering the second half, but outscored the Patriots 42-31 over the final 20 minutes to fall 91-71.
