ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- A six run second inning moved the RiverHawks back up to .500 for the season with a 9-0 win in five innings over St. Cloud State on Saturday morning. 
Paige Gann hit her tenth homer of the season as Northeastern State moved 13-13 overall and has won four of their last five games. 
Jennifer Wolf (4-4) picked up her third decision in a row for NSU for the complete game shutout. 
The RiverHawks had ten hits against the Huskies with Haley Acrey, Jessica Boone, Kelsey Harmon all having two-hit mornings.  Sierra Crick went 1-for-3 with a three RBI game.
Northeastern State did their damage in the second inning after loading the bases with no outs.  Baylee Ratliff scored NSU's first run the hard way with a hit by pitch before the RiverHawks struck out twice.   Boone hit the second pitch she saw up the middle to score a pair to go up 3-0.  Harmon followed up with a RBI single to right field and Crick dropped a single to center to give NSU a 6-0 lead on the Huskies. 
In the fourth, Crick picked up her third RBI on a fielder's choice to score Boone in from third.  Paige Gann followed up with a 3-0 count two-run homer to left field to give NSU their nine run lead.
St. Cloud State left two runners on in the fifth to fall to 16-7 with the loss to Northeastern State.
The RiverHawks will complete their day in St. Joseph, Mo. at 4 p.m. against Winona StateÂ
