NSU upgrading Doc Wadley Stadium videoboard

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State fans visiting Doc Wadley Stadium this upcoming season will have an enhanced game day experience with a new high definition videoboard being installed in the north end zone.

The videoboard replaces the pre-existing one on the north end zone scoreboard and will be roughly 16' x 9' in size.  Video quality on the new board will go from 24 mm to 16 mm with RGB pixels that will have enhanced clarity for fans in the daylight.  Additionally, the videoboard can be used all-day, and will assist NSU promote upcoming events and community partners.

"While RiverHawks Athletics made a significant investment in the Doc Wadley Stadium video board, top panel and illuminated ad panels at the beginning of the 2015 season - a new opportunity presented itself," said Director of Athletics Tony Duckworth.

"Fans will enjoy the benefits of this new HD video board.  The video board will enhance the gridiron game day experience of Green and White nation while allowing us to seamlessly market corporate pride members, other athletics and institutional events throughout the remainder of year."

First Team LED Video Display, Inc. (Tulsa, Okla.) was awarded the bid for the project and will be completed by the NSU football opener on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. against Washburn at Doc Wadley Stadium.
