ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T kicked in a goal in the sixth minute of overtime to hand the RiverHawks a 1-0 shutout loss on Saturday afternoon.

The match was NSU's second in their Missouri non-conference loop and RiverHawks will look to regain some momentum with their three contests coming at home.

Northeastern State played the Miners evenly on their home turf with both teams kicking 15 shots in regulation.  Missouri S&T had two shots in overtime with the first one coming wide in the 95th minute and 80 seconds later they placed a game winner on a pass back close in-front of the keeper.

The RiverHawks (0-2) had the edge on the attack with eight shots on-goal with Ismael Serratos, Trevor Reed, and Aaron Ugbah all having a pair.   Ugbah had the best shot to give NSU their first goal of the season in the 77th minute but was spoiled by a diving stop by S&T on the far post.

NSU keeper Ryan Davis stopped the first four Missouri S&T shots to bring his season total up to eight saves.
