EDMOND, Okla. --- Northeastern State saw its five game winning streak snapped this afternoon with a 6-0 loss to Central Oklahoma in MIAA Conference action here Tuesday.
NSU falls to 16-11 and 7-7 in conference play.
Jaxon Phipps collected the only two hits for the RiverHawks, a single in the second inning and a double in the seventh innings.
The RiverHawks committed three errors that led to four unearned runs on the day. Starter
Trevor Smith (1-2) was credited with the loss, going five innings allowing two earned runs on six hits while striking out four.

Nolan Sturgeon each pitched an inning of relief.
Northeastern State will continue MIAA play this weekend at it will travel to Bolivar, MO for a weekend series against Southwest Baptist. The three game set will begin on Thursday and continue thru Saturday with nine inning games beginning at 2:00 pm.
