EDMOND – Strong doubles play by the No. 11 RiverHawks set the tone for a 9-0 sweep Tuesday afternoon against Cameron.  The win is Northeastern State's fifth in a row against NCAA competition and their first overall team sweep in 2018.

In doubles, NSU made quick work of the Aggies with all three courts winning by at-least four games.   Switching over to singles, Northeastern State's
Mayra Jovic won her sixth match in a row on court three, 6-1, 6-2.  On the main court, No. 23
Tatjana Stoll rolled past Cameron's No. 34 Zhenia Shviadok, 6-3, 6-1 in the afternoon's lone ranked matchup.

Tuesday's meeting was the first since 2011 between the two in-state programs and former conference rivals.  The win over the Aggies will send the RiverHawks to 5-2 this season and Cameron will fall to 3-3.

Northeastern State will start MIAA this upcoming Friday with Nebraska-Kearney visiting Tahlequah for the first time since the 2017 NCAA Central Regional.   The RiverHawks open MIAA play with a 38 match winning streak against conference programs.
