TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State wide receiver Gary McKnight Jr. is heading to the Baltimore Ravens after receiving a rookie minicamp invitation by the organization.

The NSU senior is a coming off a season where he was second in the MIAA in reception yards (1,029), and caught 11 touchdown passes.  In the postseason, McKnight Jr. was named All-MIAA Second Team, and was placed as an All-American (Honorable Mention) by the Don Hansen Football Committee.

The native of Lawton, Okla. was 19th in the nation in total yardage and seventh with 21.89 yards per reception as a senior.

In two seasons at Northeastern State, McKnight Jr. quickly found himself in the program record books with 1,846 reception yards, which is third highest the NCAA Division II era.
