RED OAK, Iowa – No. 6 Northeastern State continued their dominance in MIAA regular season play with an 8-1 against No. 46 Northwest Missouri State. The win is the 45th in a row for the RiverHawks and with a victory on Sunday at Missouri Western, they will clinch at-least a share of its fourth straight MIAA Regular Season title.
With cold weather dominating much of the central corridor on Saturday, play was moved indoors in Iowa. The location change had no effect for RiverHawks who went with a largely different doubles lineup for the second match in a row. Northeastern State paired

Tatjana Stoll and
Easton Parker played on court three. Both doubles groupings dominated the Bearcats with 8-1 wins.Â
However, the RiverHawks were edged out 9-7 on court one in what would end up being their lone loss of the day.
Northeastern State continued to control the Bearcats in singles, picking up wins on court four then three. No. 8 ranked Stoll was the overall match clincher for the RiverHawks on the main court beating No. 58 Tania Teruel 6-3, 6-1.Â

Mayra Jovic continues to remain perfect this spring at 15-0 with the junior winning 6-4, 6-3 on court two.
The RiverHawks will remain indoors on Sunday to face Missouri Western State at 11 a.m.
