TAHLEQUAH – Four goals in the second half by Northeastern State soared them past Missouri Southern to a 6-2 win on Friday evening.Â
Sarah Rector set the pace for NSU and broke a 2-2 tie out of the half with a goal in the 48th minute. From there the RiverHawks never looked back to move to 5-0 this season.Â
Valeria Pankratova book ended the scoring for NSU with their first and sixth goal. Both goals by MSSU (3-1-1) came off penalty kicks in the final ten minutes of the first half.
