BOLIVAR, Mo. – Northeastern State closed out its non-conference slate with a 2-0 shutout at Southwest Baptist on Friday evening. The shutout is the third this season for the RiverHawks who are only six matches into the season.
Mariah Nicolet put NSU ahead with a goal in the 17th minute and
Valeria Pankratova put them over the top with their second in the 80th minute. Northeastern State will head into MIAA play with a 6-1 record while the Bearcats go to 0-6-1.

- Southwest Baptist did not have a shot on-goal against the RiverHawks. This is the first time since Sept. 6, 2015 vs. Oklahoma Christian that a team came up empty with their attacks at the NSU goal.
