HAYS, Kan --- Northeastern State once again surrendered a late goal in a 1-0 loss at Fort Hays State in MIAA women's soccer action at FHSU Soccer Stadium here Sunday.
The RiverHawks have dropped three straight road contests and fall to 6-4 on the year and 0-3 in MIAA play.
The Tigers tested NSU keeper Brennan Hockett early and often.  Hockett finished with nine saves on the day, facing 19 shots, 10 of which were on goal. FHSU finally broke through the NSU defense with five minutes remaining in the match to secure the victory. The RiverHawks managed only six total shots with five on goal.
NSU will look to get back in the win column as it will host #8 Central Missouri to Dr. Dan Deloache  Field on Friday October 5.  Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
