RiverHawks fall to Hillcats in double overtime

CLAREMORE – The RiverHawks Men's Soccer team lost to Rogers State 1-0 in double overtime on Friday night. The RiverHawks are now 9-7 on the season and 7-5 in conference matches. The Hillcats improve to 11-4-1, with a record of 8-4 in GAC matches.

Noah Robson was the hero for the Hillcats, just 28 seconds into the second overtime period, off a pass from Jaxon Pitt. He took the pass and put it just past RiverHawks keeper Justin Hinman.

Flynn Semmerling led the RiverHawks with two shots on the night, one of which was on goal. Ben Watson also contributed a shot on goal while Aaron Ugbah, Josh Tatarian, Jack Barrier and Ameer Madden all had shots on the night. Hinman made eight saves in net for the RiverHawks.

The RiverHawks will wrap up the regular season next week when they host Harding on Thursday evening at DeLoache Field before facing Ouachita Baptist Sunday, Nov. 10 on the road to close out the season.
