Opening Tip 
  • With their win over UA-Fort Smith on Nov. 16, the RiverHawks have won back-to-back games.  The last time they won three consecutive games was the start of the 2015-16 season. 
  • Cenia Hayes is third in the MIAA in scoring with 18.5 points a game, and she has averaged 26 in the last two contests. 
  • Northeastern State's three-point defensive percentage (21.6) is tops in the MIAA and 30th nationally.  On the offensive side, they are tops at the arc going 43.5-percent and 12th nationally. 
  • Hayes in 23rd nationally in three-pointers made this season (13) and leads the MIAA. 
  • Shae Sanchez has scored at-least ten points in her four starts this season for the RiverHawks.
  • The RiverHawks are 2-0 with Morgan Hellyer in the starting lineup. 
  • All ten games in 2019 will be in the State of Oklahoma.
The Series With Texas Woman's...
  • First meeting in Tahlequah since Jan. 29, 2011 and first visit to the NSU Event Center.
  • In Tahlequah, Northeastern State holds a 7-2 series record over the Pioneers.
  • Former conference foe for the RiverHawks when NSU was members of the Lone Star Conference.
  • Head Coach Fala Bullock is 1-0 against Texas Woman's.  As a student-athlete at NSU, she was 3-0 against the Pioneers. 
About the Pioneers
  • Opened the season with an 83-48 win over Champion Christian College before narrowly losing in overtime to Southeastern Okla. State 61-59.
  • The Pioneers are led by London Archer, who is averaging 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Carissa Moody is averaging 10 points and 14.5 rebounds per game.
  • As a team, TWU is shooting 41.3% from the field and 66.7% from the free-throw line. They are averaging 71 points per game while holding opponents to 54.5 points per game.  
  • Texas Woman's have just two seniors on the team (Archer, Moody) and three juniors. They have five sophomores, two redshirt freshmen, and four freshmen on the roster. 
  • The Pioneers were picked to finish 10th in the Lone Star Conference
Looking Back
  • Northeastern State won both of its games last week inside the NSU Event Center. 
  • Maegan Lee had seven of NSU's 24 rebounds against UA-Fort Smith to set a new career-high.
  • Hayes scored at-least 20 points in both contests last week, surpassing her career-high twice.  The junior scored a team-high 27 points in their win against UA-Fort Smith.
  • The Lady Lions only attempted five three-pointers and made one against the RiverHawks, which was a low in the Fala Bullock era.
