Cameron Conrad all also had an RBI in the frame.
NSU struck again in the sixth with Acrey hitting a two-out RBI single to put them up 7-0 on the Blue Tigers.

In game two, the RiverHawks plated three in the opening frame and two more in the second.  Lincoln would score a run in the first three innings to stay within a pair of runs of the RiverHawks.
Alyssia Crick gave NSU an insurance run in the fifth with an RBI double to go up 6-3 on the Blue Tigers.  An inning later, a Lincoln error plated two more for NSU and Conrad tripled to right center to give them a 9-3 lead.
Lincoln (4-16, 1-5 MIAA) trimmed the RiverHawks' lead by one in the bottom half of the sixth scoring a run on an error.
Northeastern State batted through the order in the seventh to bust the game open with five runs on three hits.
