HAYS, Kan. – Northeastern State made quick work on Monday of Fort Hays State, sweeping the Tigers 7-0 in under two hours.
The sweep is the first this season for the RiverHawks who improve to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in the MIAA.
NSU dominated the contest with the Tigers failing to win a game in four of the single sets.
In doubles, the RiverHawks' pairings only allowed four total game wins by the Tigers. Northeastern State won on all three courts for the match point.
Karla Tomaic had a clean sweep in five singles and
Kristela Vidnere was the match-clinching point in fours with a 6-0, 6-2 win.

Tatjana Stoll took her sixth consecutive match 6-1, 6-1 on the main court. While #43-ranked
Mayra Jovic moved her career regular season win total to 26-0 with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at twos.
Fort Hays State is now 0-7 against the RiverHawks all-time and falls to 3-6 (0-4 MIAA)
Northeastern State returns to action on Saturday where they will host Northwest Missouri at 11 a.m.
