TAHLEQUAH – A hot start for the RiverHawks fizzled in singles for the #44-ranked RiverHawks who fell 6-1 to rivals #9-ranked Central Oklahoma on Friday afternoon.
Northeastern State made quick work of the Bronchos in doubles with its top-two teams only allowing three total UCO game wins.

Tatjana Stoll and
Mayra Jovic crushed UCO's top doubles pair who were ranked #15 nationally 6-1 on the main court.
When play switched over to singles, NSU could not find another win, with the Bronchos taking all six courts.
#8-ranked Jovic saw a 30-match winning streak end after being forced to retire in the third set. On the main singles court, #15-ranked
Tatjana Stoll fell 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.
Friday's loss drops the RiverHawks to 7-8 overall and 5-3 in the MIAA. Central Oklahoma improves to 13-3 and 7-1 in the MIAA.
Northeastern State will wrap up its regular season on Monday with a conference match against Lindenwood.
