TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State Director of Athletics Tony Duckworth has announced an agreement with Skeeter Kell Sporting Goods (Kennett, Mo.) to serve as the Official Sporting Goods Provider to RiverHawks Athletics.
 
Under the agreement, Skeeter Kell Sporting Goods will provide special pricing to NSU Athletics for gear, clothing, equipment, and more to give an enhanced experience to NSU student-athletes.
 
"I believe the four-year contract with Skeeter Kell Sporting Goods will serve RiverHawks Athletics well based on pricing, product brands, and service," said Duckworth.  "Rather than being tied to one exclusive brand, our programs will be able to outfit our teams in Nike, Adidas or Under Armour while taking advantage of other quality brands for practice and training." 
 
"As we crafted the RFP for vendors to submit proposals, the goal of the agreement was to address the economic realities we face daily in Division II athletics.  I feel our arrangement is one of the more unique team sales partnerships in the country."
