TAHLEQUAH -- The RiverHawks Men's Soccer team dropped their home opener 2-0 on Wednesday evening to Midwestern State. NSU is now 1-2 on the season.
It was scoreless at halftime, but in the second half Midwestern scored two goals in eight minutes, and the RiverHawks couldn't find the back of the net, despite some great chances late.
Justin Hinman made six saves in net for NSU, while
Sam Scarth led the team with two shots, one of which was on goal.Â
NSU will be back in action Saturday evening when they face Oklahoma Christian on the road. They will next be at home on Sept. 26 when they welcome Southern Nazarene.
