Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Stevie Larson

RiverHawks Men's Soccer defeats Eagles 3-1


OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- The RiverHawks Men's Soccer team cruised past the Oklahoma Christian Eagles 3-1 on Saturday night. NSU is now 2-2 on the season.

Tom Singhgolden scored the first goal of the match for NSU in the 31st minute. Jameson Biles followed suit just seven minutes later to push the lead to 2-0. Ben Watson added a goal in the 67th minute. 

Justin Hinman made four saves in net for NSU on five Eagle shots. Flynn Semmerling had three shots, with two on goal and one assist. Aaron Ugbah recorded four shots on the night, with one shot on goal. As a team, NSU outshot the Eagles 21-11, also winning the shots on goal battle 9-5. 

The RiverHawks will now turn their attention to GAC play, when they travel to Hays, Kansas for a matchup with Fort Hays State. They will wrap up the week with a road match at Newman.
