Opening Tip

• Today's game is the latest start to the season since the early 1980s for Northeastern State.
• This game is also one of the first NCAA women's basketball games in the nation.
• The RiverHawks have won two of their last three home openers. They have come away with victories in four of last 10 season openers.
• The RiverHawks return 85.9 percent of scoring, 84.4 percent of its rebounding, 79.0 percent of its blocks and 76.9 percent of its minutes.
• Northeastern State will begin the season after finishing third in the MIAA by holding opponents to 29.9 3-point field goal percentage.

• Was the best free throw shooting team in the MIAA last season with a 79.7 percentage.
• It returns three of its top four scorers in seniors Mallory McConkey (12.8), Jaelyn Haggard (10.4) and Kylie Coleman (7.7).
