TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State won its second consecutive match against an in-state rival and took down Cameron 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The RiverHawks made quick work of the Aggies in doubles and swept all three courts.
Emma Warnock and
Chiara Carnelutti moved NSU the right direction with a 6-3 win on court-3,
Melissa Vera and
Vera Carvalho won 6-2 on court-2 to clinch the doubles point.
Tatjana Stoll and
Kristela Vidnere won on the main court, 6-3.
In singles play, Vidnere was off the court first with a 6-0, 6-3 contest in 3s. Vera gave NSU its third point taking 5s by a score of 6-2, 6-4.
Chloe Certain was the match winner on court six and beat the Aggies, 6-4, 6-1. Cameron would get two court wins before Stoll closed out the contest with a three-set win on the main court.
BEYOND THE BOX
- The win moves NSU to 20-3 against the Aggies and it is the third straight win over Cameron. Northeastern State is undefeated in 18 meetings at home with CU.
- Cameron's first visit in Tahlequah since May 7, 2010
