Opening Tip 
  • Shae Sanchez enters the weekend with 997 career points. The junior from Coquitlam, British Columbia has played in all 20 games, averaging 13.1 points per game and shooting 40% from the field
  • Cenia Hayes is tied for eighth in the MIAA in points per game with 15.1. She is shooting 37.6% from behind the arc, good for fourth in the conference.  Last time out against Pitt State, redshirt senior Tree Brooks played a season-high 27 minutes and scored her 500th career point. She is averaging 3.9 points per game this season 
  • The RiverHawks are fifth in the conference in free-throw percentage, shooting 75.0%. Hayes leads the team and is fourth in the conference, shooting 82.4% from the line
  • The RiverHawks will play four of their next six games on the road to close out the season
The Series With Rogers State...
  • This will be just the second time that the RiverHawks and Hillcats will meet in conference action
  • NSU leads the series 5-1, with a 3-0 record in Claremore 
  • The RiverHawks won the last matchup 81-60 on Dec. 20 inside the Event Center
  • The only Rogers State win came on Nov. 24, 2015 when they won 58-54 in Tahlequah
  • Head Coach Fala Bullock has never lost to the Hillcats (3-0)
About the Hillcats
  • Are on a two-game losing streak after a 91-73 loss to Pitt State and a 92-64 loss to Missouri Southern
  • The Hillcats have picked up all three of their wins this season at home
  • Rogers State picked up their only MIAA win on Jan. 25 when they beat Lincoln 99-75. Bailey Kliewer led the Hillcats that night with 19 points and eight rebounds
  • RSU is giving up 77.5 points per game, which is the most in the conference and 15th-most in the nation
  • The Hillcats are averaging 8.8 steals per game, which is sixth-most in the conference
  • Kliewer is fifth in the conference with 22 blocked shots this season.
Looking Back
  • NSU suffered a pair of MIAA losses last week against Missouri Southern (59-50) and Pitt State (86-56).
  • Against the Lions, the RiverHawks were unable to overcome an 8-2 run in the fourth quarter. Cenia Hayes scored 15 points while Maegan Lee and Shae Sanchez both scored nine, Lee led NSU with eight rebounds.
  • On Saturday, Lee scored 15 points to lead the RiverHawks, while Hayes scored 13 and pulled five rebounds. Tree Brooks played a season-high 27 minutes and also pulled five rebounds, a new season-high for her.
