HOW IT HAPPENED
Central opened the first with a leadoff triple, which would come in for the first run of the game. An NSU fielding error would plated a second run for UCO with the batter coming in to score from second base.
After opening the third with a pop-up, the next three batters drew walks to load the bases for Jess Schuler who cranked a 1-1 pitch to center to tie the game.
A leadoff single in the sixth by UCO came back around to hurt the RiverHawks with the Bronchos playing small ball. Following a walk to put runners on first and second, Central used a bunt to move runners over a bag. The next UCO batter would hit a 0-2 pitch to left to score the go-ahead run.
