What has been your favorite moment as a student-athlete at Northeastern State?
- My favorite moments as a student-athlete have been being able to lead our freshman to success on and off the field. I love being there for all the younger girls and helping them enjoy this experience!
What has been your most meaningful experience outside of athletics?
- The most meaningful experience outside of athletics has been being able to talk to my professors about what I want to do and everything they have offered me to help out with. I have been beyond blessed with the staff in the HHP program.
Who was/is your favorite professor at Northeastern State, and why?
- I would have to say my favorite Professor at NSU would have to be Margret Dobbs in the HHP program. She has been an amazing mentor with every step I have taken within my health career and is just a bright light when it comes to professors. My other favorite professor is Jameie Combs! She is someone whose classes I have fallen in love with. She is my sign language professor and would do anything to help out her students. I don't think I could have made it through senior year without her.
Do you have plans for post-graduation yet? If so, what are they?
- I do have some plans after graduation! I am planning on applying to a few different OTA programs! I am wanting to work in pediatrics!
What advice would you give to younger athletes about their time at Northeastern State?
- My advice to younger athletes...if there is anything, I have learned with this whole experience is just to enjoy every single moment. Enjoy being on the dirt with a ball and a glove with 20 of your best friends. Take every moment as a learning experience because it will get hard, but I promise everything is worth it. This isn't something I would have ever pictured to happen in my career, and I would do anything to be on the field with my best friends right now.
