The series with Missouri Southern
• The series is tied at 17 apiece, however, Missouri Southern has won eight of the last ten meetings between the two programs.Â
• Northeastern State has dropped seven straight games at Missouri Southern. The Lions have held NSU to an average of 52.1 points during that span.Â

• The Lions are led in scoring by Carley Turnbull with 14.2 points per game. In the first meeting this season she burned NSU for 27 points. She is joined in double figures by Madi Stokes with 11.1 points while also leading the MIAA with 2.6 blocks and 11.7 rebounds.Â
• Missouri Southern has held opponents to 37.0 percent shooting this season while NSU allows a 45.7 clip.Â
• The Lions get to the free throw line the second most in the conference but only convert on 72.4 percent.Â

Zaria Collins has cemented herself on the top of opposing team scouts this season. She averages 18.6 points shooting 46.8 from the field, 6.9 rebounds, and plays 37.8 minutes of action. Collins stands 5-foot 9-inches but goes to battle in the paint and as a result leads the MIAA with 3.2 offensive rebounds per game. In the three games, she missed NSU is 0-3. She also ranks second in the MIAA playing 37.8 minutes per game.
Glancing ahead
• The RiverHawks will visit Emporia State Thursday Feb. 4 in hopes of avenging its first loss of the season, 78-64. The Lady Hornets are 8-3 this season.
