NSU women's soccer falls to Jennies

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- #16-ranked Central Missouri scored two goals in each half as they shut out Northeastern State 4-0 Friday evening. 

The setback drops NSU to 3-4-3 overall and 0-2 in the MIAA.

Callie Rucker had three shots on goal, with the RiverHawks edging the Jennies 16-to-14 in shots. 

Alixe Van Craenenbroeck made her first career start, and Melanie Rice saw her first action of the season at goal playing the final 59 minutes. 

Central Missouri moves to 7-1-1 (1-0-1 MIAA) with the win over NSU. 

The RiverHawks will head next to Joplin to face Missouri Southern Sunday at 2 p.m.
