BETHANY -- A pair of first-half goals downed the RiverHawks 3-0 at #22-ranked Southern Nazarene Saturday evening.
The setback at Bethany sends the RiverHawks to 6-7 overall and 4-3 in the GAC/MIAA. 
The win for the Crimson Storm (9-4) keeps them a game ahead of Fort Hays State and Rogers State in the GAC/MIAA standings as they will leave with a 6-1 mark. 
Southern Nazarene scored in the 21st minute and 39th; they would net a third late second half. 
NSU had an 11-to-10 edge in shots and led 8-3 in corners. 
Northeastern State will be on the road this upcoming week, traveling to Harding and Ouachita Baptist.
