SEARCY, Ark. --
Scott Woods scored his first career goal at Northeastern State Thursday as RiverHawks shutout Harding 2-0 on the road.
The junior picked up a pass in the 57th minute from
Jack Barrier on a through ball up the middle with Woods' shot going through the upper right of the Harding goal.
Flynn Semmerling scored his 30th career goal at NSU and fifth of the season in the 72nd minute on a pass from team captain
Ryan McCully.
Northeastern State outshot Harding 10-to-7 with corners even at seven. The Bison (1-6-2, 1-4-2 GAC/MIAA) was limited to one shot on-goal, with
Brett Ekperuoh earning the shutout at goal.
Thursday's win moves the RiverHawks to 7-7 and 5-3 in GAC/MIAA play.
The RiverHawks heads next to Ouachita Baptist for a Saturday afternoon contest at 12:30 p.m.
