The loss snapped a three-match win streak for NSU, which slips to 5-5 (3-1 GAC/MIAA).Â
Jack Barrier broke a scoreless game in the 52nd minute on a header off a pass from Jason Rivera. Â
The NSU momentum was short-lived, and the Crimson Storm got an equalizer less than a minute later.Â
SNU's (6-3, 3-0 GAC/MIAA) eventual game-winner came off a free-kick with 2:46 left in regulation.Â
Shots were nearly even, with the Crimson Storm taking a slight 11-to-10 edge. Corner kicks were limited to just five between both teams.Â
Northeastern State remains at home to host Fort Hays State Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
