Men's Soccer falls to Hillcats

TAHLEQUAH -- Rogers State landed three goals in the second half two down Northeastern State 4-2 Saturday afternoon.

Rogers State would give the RiverHawks and early lead with an own goal off a header in the 22nd minute.   However, the Hillcats would find an equalizer before the half.

The Hillcats (11-4-2 (7-3-1) would pull ahead in the second half scoring in the fourth minute and got a third in the 61st.

Miguel Torres put the RiverHawks back within one with a goal on a pass from Jason Rivera in the 67th minute.  Rogers State iced the contest scoring in the 83rd.

The RiverHawks would have a 17-to-15 shot edge and in corners 7-to-3.  Flynn Semmerling and Torres both had four shots and Scott Woods took three.

Northeastern State will be on the road for the final weekend of the regular season and will be at Fort Hays State on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
