TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State earned three Academic All-District distinguishments in men's soccer Thursday from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Luan Lamas, Ryan McCully, and Flynn Semmerling were part of ten student-athletes from the district who were honored, which represent programs from the Great American Conference, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference that sponsor men's soccer.

McCully and Semmerling earned their third honor; the pair is the first three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District award winners at NSU.  

McCully started and played all but five minutes in 16 contests this fall and had two goals with one assist. Semmerling was tied for the NSU lead with six goals and three assists. 

Lumas played in all 18 matches for the RiverHawks with four goals and two assists. 

First-Team All-District honorees are eligible for Academic All-America. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Dec. 9.
