TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State rallied back from a seven-run deficit and blasted three homers to beat Missouri Valley 11-9 in the second game of the Cherokee Nation Festival Friday.
Alyssia Crick hit two homers and had four for the day and batted 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Chloe Bohuslavicky had a pair of hits and homered in the fifth.
The Vikings scored early with three in the opening inning and four more in the second.
Trailing 8-1 in the fourth, NSU scored three runs with Crick hitting a two run homer. The RiverHawks bats kept going with four more to tie the game on a
Megan Green RBI.
Carly Kelley plated the go-ahead run in the sixth on a fielder's choice. Up 9-8,
Cat Rodman added two more insurance runs with a double down the left field line.
Both Crick and Kelley scored three runs with both reams having ten hits.
Gail Young (3-1) tossed four innings of relief and struck out six batters.
The RiverHawks (4-4) return to the field on Saturday to play two games starting with Doane at 9 a.m.
