TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State's bats woke up early as they had six extra-base hits to beat Doane 9-1 in the first of two games on Saturday morning.
Alyssia Crick homered for the third consecutive game and had her fifth homer during that span as part of a six-run second inning for the RiverHawks.
Cameron Conrad left with a three-RBI game, and
Chloe Bohuslavicky went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of RBI.
Gail Young spun a no-hitter into the fourth and allowed only three hits while striking out eight Doane batters.
NSU won the game on account of the eight-run rule in the fifth, with
Rhomie Bradshaw scoring her third run of the game on a wild pitch.
Northeastern State moves to 4-3 with the win.
