WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Central Missouri scored a run in the final two innings and downed the RiverHawks, 3-2, a walk-off error in the seventh Friday evening.
Rhomie Bradshaw and
Cameron Conrad accounted for all the RiverHawks' offense with solo homers.
NSU finished their first true road series with a split, winning the first game 9-7, as they fall to 17-11 overall and 5-5 in the MIAA.
Central Missouri opened the seventh with back-to-back singles, and a fielding error by NSU advanced the runners to second and third. Following a pop-up, a second fielding error by the RiverHawks would send in the winning run for the Jennies.
The RiverHawks were out-hit 8-to-5 by the Jennies, who move to 16-8, 5-3 MIAA.
Carly Kelley had two of the team's five hits.
Jenna Chassie (4-5) struck out three batters in the contest.
Northeastern State heads next to Lincoln for a doubleheader starting at noon.
