SEARCY, Ark. -- Callie Rucker broke Northeastern State's scoring drought with her first multi-goal match to give the RiverHawks a 2-0 road win Monday night at Harding.
The RiverHawks (2-1-1) nearly went 200 minutes between goals before Rucker scored in the 77th minute on a turnaround shot at the top of the box.
Rucker scored ten minutes later on a cross pass from Hannah Stettler to ice the contest in favor of NSU.
Northeastern State more than doubled the Lady Bison's shot total 19-to-8 with corners even at five apiece.
Ainsley Cunningham and Brennan Hockett played a half for NSU in front of the net for the combined shutout.
Monday's win is the ninth consecutive for NSU over Harding as they fall to 2-4 overall.
Northeastern State heads to Edmond next to face Central Oklahoma this Friday evening.
