Women's Soccer falls at UCO

EDMOND -- A rough stretch for the RiverHawks in the second half allowed for three Central Oklahoma goals within two minutes as Northeastern State fell 4-0 Friday evening in Edmond.

The RiverHawks were limited to a season-low six shots while UCO attacked with 18 on their side of the pitch.

Central scored in the eighth minute on a ball that went low right on the goal and just outside the inside box.

The score remained 1-0 until the 54th minute where they tallied their second shot from near the exact location.  A third goal happened just inside of 30 seconds following the last one for UCO.

After missing the first four matches of the season, Myka Heimbach returned to the pitch and was on the Starting XI.

The loss dropped NSU to 2-2-1 overall, and Central improved to 3-2 with the win.

Northeastern State returns home Sunday to host Rogers State at 1 p.m.
