TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State (2-4) will play in a massive homestand with five of their next six matches being on the home pitch. In that span, the lone away contest is a one-hour trip to Rogers State.
Sam Scarth leads the team in scoring with ten points having three goals and four assists. Flynn Semmerling is second with seven points, netting a pair of goals, and having three assists.
Scarth also leads the GAC/MIAA in points and assists.
History with the Bison
Northeastern State is 21-1 all-time against Harding and is 12-0 at home when facing the Bison. In the spring 2021 season, NSU needed a goal in the 106th minute to beat Harding 3-2 on the road. When facing Harding in league play, NSU leads that series, 8-1.
Scouting the Bison
- Harding is 0-2 this season and has been inactive since playing Union (Tenn.) on Sept. 4 and has had three matches canceled.
- In those two matches, Harding has been outscored 7-2.

The RiverHawks have won six straight against the Tigers and are 17-3 all-time when facing Ouachita Baptist. After a scoreless first half in the last meeting, Northeastern State blasted seven goals against OBU in the spring 2021 contest in Tahlequah.
Scouting the Tigers
- Ouachita Baptist will be in Bethany Thursday for their GAC opener against Southern Nazarene.
- Heading into this week's matches, OBU is winless going 0-3-1 and has been out-scored 15-3. Two of those goals came in a 2-2 draw to Delta State.
Coming Up
Northeastern State remains in the area and travels to Claremore on Thursday evening to face Rogers State. They close homecoming week on Saturday with Southern Nazarene visiting for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
