CLAREMORE -- Northeastern State was out-shot by Rogers State 10-to-2 in the second half, but Flynn Semmerling accounted for all the offense in a 1-0 shutout in-favor of the RiverHawks Thursday.

The win is the third consecutive for NSU as they are now 3-0 in GAC/MIAA play and 5-4 overall.

In the 63rd minute, Semmerling landed his 29th career goal and fourth of the season on a breakaway near the top of the box and getting past the RSU keeper.  Sam Scarth was credited with his fifth assist on the season.

Thursday's shutout is also the third consecutive for the RiverHawks, the team's longest since 2018, where they had five in a row.

Niklas Kirhoff earned the shutout at goal and had three saves.
