TAHLEQUAH – Seth Key tossed seven scoreless innings and struck out eight Washburn batters en route to a 4-0 shutout win for the RiverHawks Saturday afternoon.

Key allowed just four hits and never walked a batter while using just 88 pitches to move to 5-1 on the hill this season.

The RiverHawks snapped an eight-game winning streak for Washburn, who has won 13 of their last 14 contests to improve their record to 14-6 (4-3 MIAA)

Collin Klingensmith hit a pair of doubles and scored Blake Freeman in the second inning.  In the fourth, the RiverHawks cleared the bases first, plating one on a C.D. White grounder, and Freeman hit a single to right, sending two runners home.
