WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Errors plagued the RiverHawks Saturday morning in a 10-1 loss to No. 10 Augustana in Warrensburg.
NSU was limited to two hits, with the setback dropping the RiverHawks to 12-12.
The Vikings took advantage of a pair of two-out infield errors by NSU in the second to plate a pair of runs in. An inning later, Augie, after opening with two hits, scored three on a homer to center field. They added a fourth run following another two-out error.
Northeastern State threatened in the fifth with the bases loaded but could only get one run in on a walk from
Raegan Edwards.
Following a scoreless fifth, Augie scored four, run-ruling NSU on a two-RBI double.
Madison Heinle (3-2) went three innings and struck out one batter.
Northeastern State wraps up the day at 2 p.m. with St. Cloud State.
