TAHLEQUAH — Brock Reller smashed two homers and had five-RBI as Northeastern State had no trouble getting past Northwestern Oklahoma Tuesday in a 13-3 win.
The RiverHawks splashed four home runs and had 13 hits to beat the Rangers in seven innings.
Blaze Brothers hit a two-run bomb in the second, and C.D. White had a solo knock in the first inning.
Brayden Rodden and White both had three-hit games. Blake Freeman scored three runs and swiped a pair of bags.
Northeastern State scored runs in the first five innings and batted through the order for a five-spot in their opening at-bats.
Korrdell Jiles (2-1) struck out six in four innings of work.
The RiverHawks improved to 22-12 overall with the win over the Rangers, who slipped to 15-19.
Northeastern State returns to MIAA play on Friday to open a three-game series at Fort Hays State.
