PRYOR, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma scored a pair of runs in the opening frame and never looked back Tuesday evening, beating Northeastern State 15-0 in seven innings.
Most of the damage happened in the second inning, with the Savage Storm plating nine runs. Southeastern only needed two hits, with NSU's pitching staff issuing five walks and a pair of hit-by-pitches.
Northeastern State would have a pair of innings end on double plays and was limited to a couple of hits as they fell to 3-4 overall. Southeastern Oklahoma moves to 5-3 overall with the second win over NSU this season.
The RiverHawks are slated to play at Thomas C. Rousey Field this Friday at 5 p.m. to open three-game series with William Jewell.
