NSU Softball Pushes Home Win Streak to 14 Games

TAHLEQUAH – The RiverHawks hit their fifth grand slam of the season Saturday evening as they run-ruled Bacone 8-0 in five innings.

Chloe Bohuslavicky smashed her second homer of the day and her ninth of the season in the opening frame clearing the bases.  

Miscues by the Warriors allowed for three runs to cross home plate as the RiverHawks only had six hits but drew seven walks.  Raegan Edwards had three walks and scored the winning run on a base on balls.  

Lizzy Hall faced 11 batters in three innings to move to 3-0 on the year.  Madison Heinle went two innings and struck out two.

The RiverHawks moved to 11-5 on the year and extended its home winning streak to 14 games. 

Northeastern State returns to action Friday, where they will play Augustana (S.D.) in Springfield, Mo.
