TEMPE, Ariz. – Northeastern State women's tennis returned to the national polls Wednesday, with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) releasing its National Team, Singles, and Doubles Rankings.
The RiverHawks are No. 33 in the team computerized rankings marking it as the first time since the conclusion of the 2019 season that NSU has appeared in the ITA poll.
Northeastern State is one of five MIAA programs to be ranked, with Central Oklahoma at No. 12, Washburn at No. 21, and Nebraska-Kearney at No. 22. Northwest Missouri came in at No. 28.
Emilia Cosatto jumped 13 spots in the national singles ranking and is No. 9, the second highest among MIAA players.
The RiverHawks are 4-1 to start the season and will return to action Saturday at Southern Arkansas for a non-conference match.
