ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Northeastern State was held without a score against Ouachita Baptist, while
Gonzalo Castells logged a shutout at goalkeeper in a goalless draw.
The RiverHawks (2-6-5, 2-3-2 GAC/MIAA) outshot the Tigers (3-8-2, 1-5-1 GAC/MIAA) with nine attempts to OBU's three. However, both goalies went the full time without surrendering a make, as Castells netted the shutout without having to record a single save. Shots on goal from Ethan Van Dusen and Yuki Yabunaka were covered with saves from OBU's end.
Donovan Aparicio led the RiverHawks with three tries, while six other NSU players recorded attempts on the night. For Castells, it marks his second shutout of the season and his first of association action.
Northeastern State returns to action next Saturday in Bethany, Okla. to battle Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m.
