TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State women's golf dives into their next campaign and their 27th under head coach Scott Varner with a six-tournament fall schedule over the months of September and October.

The start of their fall slate is on Sep. 3-4 in Kansas City, Mo. for the Central Region Fall Preview, hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State at Adam's Point Golf Course. Less than a week later, the RiverHawks host the 25th NSU Golf Classic in Muskogee, Okla. from Sep. 9-10.

Road trips to MIAA sites and hosts take up the rest of the schedule, as the team travels to Kearney, Neb. to end opening month with the MIAA Preview from Sept. 23-24 at Meadowlark Hill Country Club. 

October begins with a trip to the KickingBird Golf Course in Edmond, Okla., as Central Oklahoma hosts the Central Region Preview from Oct. 7-8, followed by a ride to Wichita, Kan., as Newman hosts the Newman Invitational from Oct. 14-15. The fall finale takes place in nearby Broken Arrow, Okla. with the Tulsa Cup at Forest Ridge Golf Course, hosted by Rogers State from Oct. 28-29.

The RiverHawks will enter the fall fresh off of their 22nd overall and 14th consecutive NCAA postseason appearance, as the team placed seventh at the NCAA Central Regional in May. They also turned in a top-three finish at the MIAA Women's Golf Championships in April, ranking third for a second straight season.
